Ryanair makes first move on Greece
Ryanair has made its first move into Greece with routes from Germany and Italy.
The budget carrier is to serve Kos, Rhodes and Volos this summer.
Flights start in May from Bergamo to the three destinations; Frankfurt (Hahn) to Kos and Volos and Pisa to Rhodes.
The airline expects to carry 200,000 passengers a year on the services.
A spokesman said: “Ryanair is delighted to boost Greek tourism and the Greek economy with the introduction of six new routes from Kos, Rhodes and Volos.”
The services to Greece go on sale tomorrow (Friday) via the airline’s website.
